Foxes – Youth (Single)

Louisa Rose Allen, known to us as Foxes has released her new single Youth which has instantly drawn me into checking out what she’s done already. Despite fresh face on the electro pop scene, she’s already guested with massive artists such as Rudimental and Fall Out Boy.

Youth still seems as enticing as it was when it came out, now as a re-release, following her Warrior EP and singles Echo, White Coats and Home. “Don’t tell me our youth is running out, it’s only just begun” she bellows out over the electro synths, drum rolls, and delicate harmonic melody that just makes you want to raise your hands in the air.

This song has given Allen the exposure she dearly deserves, and after plays after plays of Youth on Soundcloud, there is no reason to forget about her. We have heard a lot of “perfect” tracks this summer by some really inspirational acts, but one has done it quite like Louisa.

Youth is such a pure and simplistic song, which has put the essence of music back into reminiscing our own youth.  It just makes you want to go back into being careless and free teenager without a worry in the world, and just enjoy life.
