Following the announcement of three London dates in June at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (that all sold out within minutes), Death Cab for Cutie have announced that they will be coming back to the UK for a short run of dates in November. Kicking off in Glasgow on 2 November, the band will make their way to Manchester and Birmingham as well as Brixton Academy on 4 November.
Kintsugi, their eight studio album, is out now. Check out last month’s article on leading track “The Ghosts of Beverly Drive” here. The band have already sold out all three nights at Shepherd’s Bush in June and are expected to sell this tour out in record time, so if you’re from Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, London or the surrounding areas, be quick because the tickets will snap up quicker than a British Summer. Speaking of quick, tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday 17th April) at 9am so set your alarms!
Kintsugi has received astonishing praise, including a whopping 8.5 stars from reviewers over at The Line Of Best Fit. **** DIY Magazine **** – The Sun 8/10 – Uncut 8.5/10 – The Line Of Best Fit 8/10 – Gigwise
